Tips to avoid refusal
- Ensure your bank statements clearly show your name and are not older than 30 days at the time of submission.
- Provide a detailed cover letter explaining your travel plans and why you are certain to return to your home country.
- If you are staying with friends or family, providing a 'Sponsorship Form for Temporary Entry' (INZ 1025) can strengthen your application.
- Avoid booking non-refundable flights or accommodation until your visa has been officially approved.
- Check the photo requirements carefully; New Zealand has very specific standards for digital visa photos.
- Be honest about any previous visa refusals for any country; non-disclosure often leads to automatic rejection.
